"Lov Sick" is an urban drama set in New York about one day in the life of Duncan Mento, a troubled young man that takes care of his mother suffering from early stages of dementia. Duncan is troubled, greatly by by the death of his father, which put pressure on his relationship to his now ex-girlfriend. He ended the relationship to move in with his mother and take better care of her, but he becomes miserable, regretful and wants his ex back. She won't have him though, because she has moved on. The young man discovers that she has moved on to his best friend. After a day of depression and a night of hard drinking the young man slowly deteriorates. Once he learns about his friend and his ex's affair, he loses control and succumbs to love sickness.​
